Welcome to UA Little Rock!
Chancellor Andrew Rogerson
Our university, founded in 1927, is steeped in the tradition of providing a quality, accessible, and affordable education in the heart of central Arkansas. But we are likewise firmly planted in the 21st century as the campus positions itself as a driving force in the region. Great emphasis is placed on providing our students research and creative experiences, as well as internship opportunities, so that they might apply the knowledge they acquire and develop the soft skills needed for success and gainful employment.
The Windgate Center of Art and Design is set to open its doors to students in early 2018, and you will notice other major improvements to the buildings and grounds. Our students learn from outstanding professors in engaging courses, with access to state-of-the-art technology, and our alumni carry the Trojan spirit, leaving their mark in technology, health professions, education, and the arts. As we celebrate the beginning of a new era for UA Little Rock – central Arkansas’s regional, premiere, NCAA Division 1, comprehensive public, research university – we invite you to see for yourself how much UA Little Rock has to offer.
